I impatiently waited for my best friend Shaira, whom I prefer to call Shai, in my living room. I was seated on my pink leather couch wearing my black high waisted shorts, a blue striped top, and some flats. My hair was curled right at the bottom, and my make up was just average.
I checked the time, 5:45 pm. The concert would start at 7 but me and Shai agreed on going to the arena at 6. Wondering what's going on? 3 words, ONE DIRECTION CONCERT. We were going to the concert tonight plus we got front row tickets. I've always admired Harry Styles among the 5 lads. He just has those green eyes and perfect smile-including the dimples- that could make any girl's heart melt.
My daze was suddenly interrupted by a knock on the door. I got up and went to open it and the next thing I knew, Shai was there, wearing a 3/4 length long-sleeved top, tucked in her jean shorts, paired with red vans. Her hair was kept natural and her make up was just the same as mine. "Ready to go?" she asked. "Yup." I smiled and we both went in her car. I turned on the radio after buckling up. Shai started the engine and off we went to the arena.
-At the arena-
We both hopped off the car, and walked straight ahead. A lady wearing a black shirt took steps toward us and asked for our tickets. We handed both tickets to her and she examined them. "Right this way ladies." she smiled. Right then, I knew she was an usher. She lead us to our seats and we both thanked her before she waved us off.
There were only 5 more minutes left then the show will start. I was really excited to see them but something inside me made me feel that something will happen tonight. I knew it wasn't just going to be a concert and I knew it would be something better.
Screaming filled my ears when I heard the familiar tune of 'Na Na Na.' The boys went on stage which made the whole crowd scream even louder, including me, and Shai.
On one point during the concert, they sang 'Moments.' Liam sang his part and when it came to Harry, I watched him move swiftly to the spot where Liam was before and he began "If we could only have this life for one more day." his eyes searched through the crowd and he saw me. His eyes grew wide, at the same time he sang, "If we could only turn back time."
They started to sing the chorus,harmonizing perfectly. It was really a touching song but my mind was stuck at one thought but millions of nonsense questions, "Why did Harry's yes grow wide when he saw me? Was there a spider on my hair? Did I have something on my face? Oh God, did someone put a sign above my head that said something really bad?" I wanted to run out at that moment but I just couldn't. One, because I was on the front row. Two, because Shai won't allow me. Three, because my mind and heart were telling me not too. For once, they agreed on the same thing.
The boys performed the rest of their songs and ever since they've gone backstage and returned, I would see them looking at me each time. What was going on?
When the concert ended, we thought it would be better if we'd leave when it's not that crowded anymore so we could get to the car safely. "OMG! I swear I saw all of them looking at you!" Shai squealed. "What?" I laughed nervously. Something wasn't right and I was dying to find out what it was.
The crowd began to sink 'till there were only 10 of us fans left. I was about to walk with Shai but a voice stopped me. "Excuse me, are you Martina?" I turned around and faced a guy who looked buff. I bet he was some sort of security for the boys. But why did he want me? And how did he know my name? "Uhm, y-yes." "Please come with me." he told me. "Can I bring my friend too?" I asked. "Of course." he nodded his head before guiding both me and Shai to some sort hallway behind the stage. "May I ask what we're doing here?" I questioned the guy. "You're wanted." "By who?" By this time we were standing right in front of a door which said 'Dressing Room' "Miss, you ask a lot. To answer your last question, you'll find out once you open this door." he said before leaving me and an excited(?) Shai.
I knocked on the door and not long after, it opened. I wanted to scream and jump around when I saw who opened it but I couldn't. I stood there, completely frozen, looking stupid in front of the one and only Louis Tomlinson. Shai on the other hand let out a shriek when she saw Louis and ran to give him a hug. He hugged her back and when he pulled back, he smiled at me. I was still taken aback of what's actually happening that I didn't realize I was already being carried over Louis' shoulder and entered the room. He sat me down on a couch, which I shared with Shai, and was across from them. By them I meant the lads.
"Hey girls." Louis smiled.
"What's up babes?" Niall laughed.
"Vas happenin?!" Zayn greeted.
"Hello." Liam said.
Harry didn't say anything, his eyes were glued to mine.
